I am leaving my comfort zone. briefly. Which, I think, is good for me in small doses from time to time. As a verbophiliac, if such a term exists, I am more comfortable with the written word, rather than being a dictophiliac or indeed pictophiliac. I don't think these two words exist either. But, they ought to. Images, therefore, are open to greater misinterpretation. Here are three, with a comment about what I'd like them to convey...
..the three men I admired the most
the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost
they took the last train for the coast
the day the music died.

"American Pie" Don McLean
For everything, there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven...
...A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them
A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing
A time to search, a time to give up
A time to keep and a time to throw away
A time to tear and a time to mend
...he has made everything beautiful in its time...he has set eternity in the hearts of men, yet they cannot fathom what he has done...
The Book of Ecclesiastes, chapter 3
Old trains, with familiar eyes, once passed this way
When tracks were bright, paint fresh
Hope beckoned in the evening
But Nature's will has overtaken man's desire
Poking her peeping leaves through concrete cracks
This, too, will pass.

Everything is open to misinterpretation, misunderstanding, and offense. What you see/hear depends on what you were thinking before you saw/heard it. lol Lovely photo choices, MathMan.
